These are a great option if you are looking for wire, (Open style) shelves. They are very strong and allow air flow to pass if what you have on them benefits from that. I use these in the garage, and they work great!

These are all metal and very solid shelves. The rating is 250 pounds and it 100% seems like you could reach that. Very few products seem to really come with the right thickness of bolts for a heavy wall mounted product, but this product comes with very good quality, thick bolts (lags) to screw into a 2x4 stud. I'm not 100% sold on using a sleeve for a brick mount (as the instructions show), but IDK.. maybe? I mounted to studs. I suggest a stud finder and then do an exploratory drill at that point carefully. I've had stud finders put me centered on a gas pipe, so now I "trust but verify," before I start putting a large lag or drilling with larger than 3/64" drill bit.Super happy with the shelves and you will be too. Exactly as pictured, very well protected in its shipping box. SOMEWHAT clear instructions. They do leave a bit of room for improvement, which is why I knocked the installation ease to 4 stars, but everything else 5. I'd suggest dry, trial fitting before you start mounting to make sure the rails, shelf and brackets all line up the way you expect.

RESULTS SUMMARYThis pair of wall-mountable steel garage shelves serves a long-time need at our house. Too much floorspace was taken up by moderately-light things that we rarely use. By contrast, these shelves — each 2’ x 4’ — together save me about 16 square feet of floor space. I’m quite pleased with the results. See the relevant attached photo. (Note: the pressure washer box in the photo contains relatively light stuff, not the heavy pressure washer it once contained. Therefore, I’m not unacceptably stressing the shelves — and, moreover, I didn’t strain my back to get that box up there!)INSTALLATIONMounting the shelves, especially mounting them close together like I have done, took some planning. However, the installation job was not very difficult.• The clever template-plus-bubble-level-vial supplied by the manufacturer — see the second photo — was quite helpful in locating the mounting holes correctly. (However, I advise installers to +very+ carefully align the bottom or top of the rectangular vial with the appropriate lines printed on the template when fastening it. Moreover, I advise stiffening the template by temporarily taping a yardstick or meter stick to it at three places along its length. At least that’s what I did to ensure that the template didn’t buckle and therefore negate any attempt at good alignment.)• The manufacturer supplies a well-made — but +short+ and non-ratcheting — 13 mm socket wrench to screw in the twelve 10 mm-diameter lag screws that hold the shelf brackets to the wall. However, based on my experience, a 13 mm electric impact wrench makes the mounting job much easier. Based on the impact wrench insertion time for each of the 12 lag bolts, I suspect that the lag-bolt-to-wood friction is quite substantial, and therefore the required insertion torque is equally substantial. If you have no impact wrench, I recommend using a long-handle commercial socket wrench, which will supply much more leverage than the short manufacturer-supplied wrench.BOTTOM LINEOverall, I’m quite pleased with the shelves. They seem adequately strong for my purposes, and I really appreciate the recovered floorspace they provide. At this point I see no reason to rate this product less than five stars. Should observed performance over time reveal negatives, I may revisit this review.

Shelves are sturdy but the instructions are terrible.

☆Important installation note! It's not very clear in the instruction booklet, but there IS a difference with the mounting brackets, definitely a left, definitely a right, for each shelf! (See my picture, which is simply showing the direction. I did not mount it on concrete)The mounting flange, the back plate that bolts to the wall, should be on the INSIDE when looking at your shelving system on the wall. This is the only way it will correctly be centered on the studs, and the only way you're going to be able to connect the included "beams" in the slots on the mounting brackets. The system is designed to work on 16-inch on center wall studs, which is standard. This system is well made, nicely coated, nice heavy support brackets, heavy duty hardware. There is a wrench included, mounting template, and stick-on level. This system is made in China. The included instructions aren't great, and the wording is…interesting. For instance, the instructions state a jackhammer should be used to mount the shelves to the wall, instead of a drill! 🤣 Also, another part of the instructions mentions removing "soil" from the holes you drill! 🤪But installation is pretty straightforward and goes smoothly using the included template. Just make sure that the flange of the mounting bracket is toward the inside, not the outside, when mounting the brackets!Overall, this is a great system and fits properly secured in studs on all mounting brackets.I'll update my review if anything fails, but it looks great, feels sturdy, and I'm pleased!5 stars
