I purchased this product in November 2016, and after only 10 months, it is completely non-functional. Contacted the manufacturer's customer service, and they told me I would simply have to replace it. I have a document scanner that my office has been using for over 4 year and that is used far more frequently than this id card scanner, and I have had no issues with it. Just too bad that company doesn't make an id scanner. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK. $300 is way too much for less than a year of functionality.
