This item is cute, and I wanted the shopper specifically for my Christmas village. Even though it was Prime delivery, it kept getting delayed and then transferred to another carrier. It arrive a week later than expected. Then when I opened it, the one figure I really wanted is broken inside the package (see photo). I decided not to return it only because I can glue it and it's not worth the effort and trip, and possibly waiting another week (which would be after Christmas arrival) for the twelve dollars. I understand this is part of what happens during the holiday rush, so it's likely not anyone's fault. But I can't say I'm happy with the purchase either.

Lexmark has the best African Americans figurines. Unfortunately Dept 56 doesn’t have a lot of African American figures. Although they are plastic they fit in well and gives my village a lot of character!

I received the order and after opening i was disappointed that the dog leg that was attached to woman was broken but the man was perfectly ok..I dont know how to fix this..I hope to recieve a replacemnet..i will reach out to the seller..most items i ordered are very nice

Perfect for my Christmas Village. It also added a pop of color since most villages do not contain people of color.
