I have used this brand before and liked it, but this purchase was surprisingly bad. Tried replacing the one I got thinking this must be a bad lot. But both cookers had rust - either spots at the bottom or at the conjunction between handle and body. I really wanted to keep it as it was the right size and weight. But because of these issues had to return it.

much better then futura Hawkins. all the futura Hawkins have issues with pressure and their gasket quality is not efficient.besides vinod handi is very good at making or trying different recipes.its good for 2 people.studio pressure cooker.nice cute.boil potatoes or lentils stew.it is important to follow directions before use.you should not overheat although the steel body is quite sturdy.

My friend recommended me to buy Vinod. I was a Hawkins or prestige fan, but after using Vinod, i realized that unlike Hawkins, and prestige, Vinod is easier to use. Also, its simple design makes it easy to clean especially near the whistle area.
