Nice little bow for younger students, or those who need to learn to play at the frog! These are useful for students who are used to playing at the upper half the majority of the time. It forces them to learn how to play lower in the bow. Also great for young students. For the price, it's well built and works fine.

Just ok in my eyes.The bow string was frayed quite a bit and shipped dry so prepare to have to condition it. Arc is too much and bow doesn't have proper tension will have to heat bend it a tad, and work it in.Personally not one I one could reccomend for a symphony, but if you need a replacement bow or have one beyond use, this will be great as a replacement short term or backup if anything happens to your original.Sturdy box, just not super up to par for me. This bow is playable and has a decent weight to it. The sound it produces is lacking, though... My son got a much better tone from his last bow. I don't know a ton about bow mechanics, just that I can hear a difference when he plays. However, if you are looking for a cheap backup bow, this will get you by.
