So, I knew I was in trouble when I opened the Amazon box and saw that the item’s cardboard box was sealed inside a plastic bag. First impression was that I received a returned item. I could tell that the item’s box was severely damaged as it had many holes and was pretty beat up. Opening the box my fears were further confirmed by the damaged item itself. I am not sure if the manufacturer packed it this way or it was someone else but this blending board was simply wrapped in a bubble wrap which, due to the needle like combs of the blending board were all mainly punctured and provided no protection to the combs. As you can see by my picture the combs at the bottom right of the board are severely damaged and bent. Rather than return it (and have someone else get this poor damaged thing) I am going to try and repair the damaged combs but this really needed to be better packaged to begin with. Other than that this seems like it would be good for blending fibers or combing wool. The different adjustable heights are a nice touch. I am not a big fan of bamboo but this seems sturdy and has a nice weight to it. When you pick it up by the handle the bottom does not fall down as I expected it to and remains in place against the back of the board. The only thing I may add to this is some rubber or felt padding to the bottom so it doesn’t scratch my furniture. However, due to the damage of my item and the work I will need to do to hopefully repair it I give this item two stars rather than five had it been properly packaged.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item.
