After an intense search of my John Deere tractor for the worn out piece ( well hidden under the dash and even a JD dealer had no clue as to it’s location) it was a simple install. My GT 275 now charges the battery.

began to need jump starts all the time. This is the least expensive and most accessible component in the charging system. Results are good old regulator was bad

Direct fit worked as it should.I had to order a plug mine was melted just thought I would mention that ,just to let you know there are replacement pigtail plugs out there
