The product appears to be well built but there are no instructions with it. The yellow wires are the AC, the black is ground, the gray is for the tach. There are two Red wires. One is for the battery but where does the other one go? I found somewhere ( I can't find it now ) where it said the male red is the battery and the female red is sense. What is ( sense )? I updated my review. Works great. The seller responded to my question. Red male wire goes to the battery. The red female wire is switched hot. They need to add instructions with this.

originally wasn't charging. replaced voltage regulator, all was good. less than a year later tachometer was erratic. replace voltage regulator with this one. so far so good, but only been on the lake 5 times since it was installed.
