Before installing your new rectifier, check the AC output of the rectifier. Replace any burned or corroded connectors on rectifier. Check and repair any melted wiring. Use high temperature dielectric grease on all connectors.

The wire gauge was smaller than stock. This is the second one of these cheap-o's I've bought off Amazon. The first one melted the connector and insulation because of the smaller wires. This one is the same gauge.It'll work fine for a while, but if you're running the tractor for long periods, expect it not to last long.

Perfect replacement for RS 5101 on a 1984 Kubota B7200 tractor.Maybe this replacement will last 40 years like the original.
