Volvo Penta's X-Series composite duoprop propeller is perfect for 4.3L and 5.0L gasoline engines with XDP or DPS DuoProp sterndrives. This propeller features a tensile strength 10 to 15% greater than aluminum, with performance to match. This composite material will not corrode or suffer cavitation burning the way stainless and aluminum propellers can. Composite construction also provides the ability to change blades too, dramatically reducing repair time and costs.By changing blade sizes, you can customize your boat for the day’s specific activity - a lower pitch for waterskiing, and a higher pitch for cruising. Different sizes are provided for different needs.The X Series Volvo Duo Prop can be used in place of the "D" & "F" series but NOT "A", "B" or "C" Series.
