Function of item as expected. Worked really well based on test runs after installed. Mine came “unbranded” unlike photos in description. Of course, the price and description should be changed if that is the case. Would have bought a cheaper crankset had I known. Bought the crankset to replace a higher end crankset on my bike for the purpose of selling bike. In the end not such a big deal since the brand is not that high end in the first place. Lack of branding aside, I give it 4 stars.

It should work, price wise it is good. But i bought this expecting that there would be the Vuelta print on the crank arms like the one in the product picture or the one in the other reviews. But what i received is a similar looking product without the Vuelta print. I bought this because it will go to a bike i have with Vuelta rims. Im considering returning it but we shall see.

This Vuelta 44T–32T–22T crankset is possibly the best I'll ever find for the very hilly terrain I frequently encounter on my rides. I've been using one of these since I got a great deal on a used mountain bike a couple of years ago. It had an excellent frame made of "100% Chromo" (decal on bike) and good wheels; seat post and a good front derailleur; the rest being hopelessly damaged junk. So, I stripped it down and rebuilt it into a city-hybrid. Thinking it would give me more power (I'm 6' 3"), I used the 175 mm version of this crank, and a new Shimano 11T–28T cassette.That setup worked good but several times since then I've scraped the bottom of the crank arms on asphalt, so last month I ordered the 170 mm version. Since I already had the necessary tools, it only took about 30 minutes to swap out. Now, I know that while 5 mm does not seem like much difference ... well, so far so good.I'm getting older; no longer in my prime; but at least I'm still able to tackle those steeper climbs without having to get off the bike and push it up. And actually, the 170 mm seems a wee bit easier to pedal. (I shouldn't have installed a 175 mm on a mountain bike in the first place.)Except for some scratch marks on the 175 mm it's still in nearly perfect condition after hundreds of miles of riding, with none of the teeth being excessively worn or broken. This crankset features replaceable chainrings. Vuelta sells them but to replace all three would be more costly than just buying a new crankset. If you need a well-made crankset geared for your vertically challenging rides, I would highly recommend that you seriously consider this one.

Prompt on time delivery, all parts included. Used a 113mm spindle bb, worked great on my 1996 Specialized Rockhopper. Vuelta says 118mm spindle which would'be been unacceptable chainline.

Para empezar la multiplicación no es totalmente de aluminio, las bielas si lo son pero las estrellas no, aun así se siente bastante ligera, con el poco tiempo que la utilice como venia se sentía pues muy bien para pedalear, aunque las estrellas no eran de la mejor calidad, los dientes no tiene un acabado muy fino y algunos hasta se ven incompletos sin embargo creo que cumplirá su función si la vas a utilizar con desviador delantero, pero mi intención no era usarla así pues de hecho compre esta multiplicación solamente porque las estrellas eran desmontables y así poder instalarle un solo monoplato para bici de montaña, con lo cual estoy muy satisfecho, ya que la conversion ha sido exitosa y se siente la resistencia y la ligereza de las bielas de esta multiplicacion al pedalear, que a mi parecer es lo mejor, y vale no hay mucho mas que agregar, es una alternativa economica y decente a las marcas mas conocidas como suntour o shimano.Actualizo mi anterior revision porque resulta que el hoyo donde se atornillan los pedales se barrio por completo, ya no pueden atornillarse pedales nuevos, creo que el aluminio es de baja calidad y no resiste para nada un uso agresivo para ciclismo montaña. pero pues es economica no podia esperar mucha calidad tras varios meses de uso duro

I just needed a replacement for my SR Suntour cranks W/riveted chain rings, so I could switch to a single-chainring setup. Workmanship is good (better than the cranks that came on the bike), and it does everything I need it to.

Nice crankset for the money. Weighed in at 1.6 lbs on my bathroom scale. I couldn't find the weight specs online anywhere so there ya go.
