It’s a decent beginner setup. However, I cracked both of the boiling flasks while distilling nitric acid. I would not recommend the boiling flasks for any kind of reaction or extraction where your vapor gets hotter than 100°C and the addition of water is necessary.

So, when it arrived, the main condenser column was broken (the straight path one). It was okay, not too big a deal because I had another. But now the 500ml rbf broke after boiling water I. A heating mantle. That’s pretty weak.

The price is good, but the quality is poor. The first kit was missing a vacuum take off adapter and the 1L RBF had bubbles beat the neck the second kit has glassware so wavy that I wouldn't make tea in it let alone use it for any kind of heated reaction

Decent glass, only broke one piece and it was caused by user error, not the glass. Good for learning basic distillation techniques. Even has a vacuum adapter for vacuum distillation if you pick up a pump and some decent tubing.Only provided 1 length of tubing with kit, while distillation requires two- one to the water source and one to drain the warmed water. Lost a start as a result. Would've been nice if they included a small tube of vacuum grease, some other minor bits that are needed to do things properly and efficiently. Otherwise a quality purchase.

I am not the type who wants to write a negative review. But when I receive the box and opens it. I found the long length Distillation tube broken. I was a little disappointed. The packing was well padded but someone hit it really hard. But every thing else was fine.
