- Good quality, nice fit and finish especially with a price point below $90- Replaced a older handle with a broken part. The install was easy just had to trim the emergency handle to the proper length.- It comes with machine thread screws and the skin on the walk in doors are too thin to thread. I installed with bolts through the door.- This is a good product

I ordered this Freezer latch kit by TrailMlix to replace my 1940's freezer/cold cellar latch. It is so old, that this couldn't possibly be an exact replacement, however that makes no difference to me. I made it work.It's great to finally have the ability to get out in the event the door shuts while I'm inside! My previous latch had that ability 80 years ago, but who knows how long ago that ceased to function?This is a very heavy duty commercial style piece of equipment and makes a huge visual and functional difference for my cold cellar! I am very impressed with the quality and I especially like having the lock & key arrangement as well as the steel plunger instead of plastic. This latch will basically last me forever! The cooler latch replacement works fabulously! I’m the maintenance person, and after we installed it, the cooks said they’ve never had a door that closes so tightly and easily.
