I am a former certified mechanic and retired PE and have been servicing and repairing vehicles for over 35 years. I enjoy auto repair and frankly, I'm good at it. These days I mostly do work for friends, family and neighbors and every once in awhile a total stranger will ask me for assistance. I simply try to help others out when and where I can and if I can't perform a repair, I will tell the owner of the vehicle (or their parents lol) where to go and approximately how much the repair will cost. This intermediate pipe was installed on one of my vehicles (before you ask...motor/trans mounts were replaced in 2018) and honestly...if I could give this product a negative review, I would. A few other purchasers have already mentioned that the hanging bracket needs to be cut and re-positioned (via welding), but my complaint is with the flexible braided coupling itself. I have had to replace this intermediate pipe twice in just under 20,000 miles. In both cases, the failure came at this junction. The first time it happened, I wrote if off, thinking I must have hit something or bottomed the car out, thus causing damage that led to failure. So I foolishly ordered another Walker pipe...cut the bracket...installed the pipe...re-welded the bracket, etc. That was 14 months ago. It failed again last week in the exact same spot (mind you, I did very little driving in 2020 because of the pandemic). I contacted Amazon...explained my problem...and was told that I needed to contact Walker directly. I sent Walker an email explaining my situation and shared my frustration. My first reply from Walker stated: "Walker warranty is administered through Amazon, who should process all warranty and return claims. We have an agreement with Amazon Retail to honor our limited warranty and to process claims - even beyond their standard 30-day policy (their = Amazon)." I sent a reply email and asked what the warranty was for this pipe. Walker responded with: "after checking with our Warranty Department they have stated that there is no warranty on this product." Walker will never get another dime from me.I contacted Bosal and was told by a CSR that they offer a lifetime warranty on their intermediate pipe (P/N 860-975), which includes the flexible coupling. There are a few suppliers on the web that are less expensive than Amazon, but only by less than 10.00 or so.That's what I know about this product. It's your money...good luck.

Time will tell as far as durability but the bracket provided for the hanger was not in the proper location and required re-engineering to work. If you have a welder this is not such a big deal. I don't and it was a pain. Fits ok otherwise. We will see if it lasts

The hanging tabs were not in the correct location, had to cut them off and re-reweld them into the proper spots, otherwise a decent pipe. I expected more from the Walker brand, was pretty surprised that I had to rework this item.
