Used this to convert my 2001 impala to dual exhaust and was an almost perfect fit. The one hanger was not in the correct spot, but this isn't made for my year. Excellent quality product.

The intermediate pipe is decent. It is not mandrel bent so I'm not sure it flows as well as the stock exhaust, but I haven't noticed a performance difference. If you get the resonator too, it will bolt right in, however, I did not. I cut the stock exhaust roughly 2" from the rear of the stock resonator weld. Then, I had to make a few slits and shrink the stock exhaust piece so it would slide into the new pipe. Finally, I used a 2.5" exhaust clamp (purchased separately) and sealed the end with high temp silicone. No leaks, and it sounds great and is super quiet with the new walker mufflers. The rear of the pipe, where it splits to go to the mufflers, sits lower than stock, and doesn't have a heat shield like the stock exhaust. It took roughly 4 hours, half of that was making the connection from resonator to intermediate pipe, and about an hour to run to the store for exhaust clamps.Overall I am happy with the purchase and would buy it again, but I would definitely buy a new resonator. Also, I would get a 2.5" exhaust clamp ahead of time to make it all bolt together with ease.

Worked out great as a replacement for the p**s poor, rotted out OEM exhaust pipe for my 07 Impala. All the hangars are in their proper place. I replaced the resonator and mufflers as well at the same time to make for an easy, clean bolt up project. I coated the pipe with ceramic paint to further protect it from the salty Michigan winters.
