This is a pipe cover, one that I feel you see most often where a toilet supply pipe connects to a wall. It covers up wall penetrations so that it's a cleaner look where the pipe goes in. This is much larger than a typical half inch pex pipe or copper supply feed to a toilet, more suited for a drain pipe or something greater than one inch. It's a snap model, so it works well when you already have the pipe present and you want to cover up the wall hole without removing any of the plumbing. To install it you just split the ring open, position it where you want, and close it up. Works well, just is an atypical size so be sure to measure what you're looking for and that it matches up against the specified size on the listing.

Ordered these: Wall Split Flange, 29mm Buckle Design Pipe Cover 4Pcs Self Adhesive Round Escutcheon Plate Round Plumbing Cover Plates Wall-mounted Pipe Hole Cover for Toilet Kitchen (Black) -- with the intent to use them in my bathroom remodel as I have pulled up the toilet and am replacing the angle stop. The listing details say to read the description carefully for the size, which I failed to do. I thought that since it said 'for toilet' that it would be 1/2 inch which is the size of toilet supply pipes in the USA. These are 1.1 inch so leave a pretty significant gap around the pipe and looks too poor for me to use. They snap together easily and are reasonably priced, use stickers to hold to the wall rather than tabs that grip the pipe itself. I like the ones that use friction on the pipe to stay in place.I can't think of a place where I can use these... so will probably toss them. Be sure and carefully measure the sizing details and don't trust the title... you would think I would have learned that after reviewing so many items.
