Right out of the box I liked what I saw... a quality Water Pump Impeller Service Kit. The rubber impeller had good flexibility and looked identical to the original Honda impeller I changed. If you're reading this, you know how important it is to regularly change impellers... even if you don't use your boat much. That's even harder on the impeller as the rubber will take a "set" and not flex while "pumping". So, the hotter the environment (especially with direct sun exposure on a lower unit), the more diligent you need to be with impeller changeouts. This kit is very reasonably priced, so do your recommended maintenance... yearly changes are the best prevention.
