I had picked some of these up a couple years back. They have worked so well that I picked up some more to fill out my serving. Easy to clean whether in the dishwasher or by hand. You don't have to worry about them if they get dropped by the kids.

Update: We purchased a second set about a year after our initial, same great quality, but slightly different shape. The old and new don't stack perfectly. The old version must be a hair smaller than the new ones. The old fit in the new ones but the new ones leave about 1/8 in gap in the stacking when placed in a old bowl. Not a big deal but a comment none the less.We bought these after our daughter dropped a bowl off the table while trying to "hand" it to us... :( but these are great. Lightweight and sturdy. We have used them for about 6 months and show no signs of rust. Everything form pasta and oranges have gone in them with no rust or damage. Great purchase, we will buy more with the next kid comes around.Wish I had had these in college.

We travel a lot and decided it was about time to replace our aged plastic bowls. When these came in, we decided to wash them before using them for the first time on a camping trip the next week. My wife washed them, and washed them... The problem was that, after she washed them, she just had to use them for something else, so they remained dirty. These quickly became her favorite bowl before we had even left for a camping trip. We may need to buy some of them to use in the house. Eventually we did go on a camping trip and she did talk about them the whole time. They are great bowls. - Update. Three years later and we still love these bowls. They are easy to clean and are still our favorite traveling bowls.

I have yet to use these bowls (I got the plates too), but I love the size and anticipate them being perfect for our scamping trips! We've been eating out of tupperware containers, so having something like this will be perfect! We threw them into the dishwasher immediately upon receiving them and they came out fine!

This is the third set of these bowls I have bought. I have been getting rid of lead in our home and replaced our dishes with Fiesta Ware, and these little beauties for the kids. I wasn't sure how they would hold up after so many times through a dishwasher, but they've been great! Look new each and every time they come out. I have had one that had a few tiny rust marks, but that was my fault. I didn't realize it had been against something with water trapped in it. I quick scrub with Barkeeper's Friend and all was well again. So we just make sure they are dry before we stack them to store them. :) Absolutely LOVE! I also bought stainless steel cups for the kids (different brand), and they are great! Also go in the dishwasher. No rust problems whatsoever.

We use these bowls for camping and they are nice for the price. They're a good size and clean up is easy!My only complaint is that the mesh bag has a large rip near the leather patch after just 1 week of use. The mesh bag is one thing that sold me on these so I can keep them together, but I don't think this one will hold up much longer. I wish the mesh was a little stronger or the patch wasn't there (I think the weight and sturdiness of the patch contributed to the rip). I'll have to find something else to store them in for future camping trips!
