About Weaver
Founded by Harry A. Weaver in 1973 as the Fryburg Shoe Shop, Weaver grew from humble beginnings into the trusted manufacturer of a wide range of leather and nylon goods it is today. In the beginning, Harry concentrated on shoe repair, but before long he recognized the potential to expand into other markets. The fledgling company began handcrafting leather horse and cattle halters. The popularity of these halters led to the manufacture of more and more items prompting Weaver to become a driving force across various industries including equine, livestock, leather supply, pet, arborist, tool gear and custom manufacturing.

You can’t really see the hurricane blue color on the reins. There is just a small strip around the center where you would hold. The rest are all black - would have liked if they did the reverse so you could see the beautiful blue. I just ditched all my leather goods for the Weaver Leather Brahma Webb Breast collar, bridal, and reins. I had gotten so tired of cleaning leather, leather staining on my steel gray horse, worrying about mold or cracking and overall maintenance. Well the set is simple in nature, I love the color, and am extremely excited about soap and water maintenance. It’s only been a couple days so I can’t speak to its durability although it seems well-made, time will tell. I will do another review down the line with an update as to how this tack is holding up. Sure wish they had colored matching wither straps. So far, perfect fit, and very pleased with the product.

I like the reigns overall.I assumed it came with 2 clips for the bit attachments. I reached out to Weaver, had 1 response asking which reigns I purchased. I sent athe info and a picture, and am now being ghosted. Its been a week with no response. Rather disappointed with the complete lack of a response. I would rather hear back even if the reigns were shipped correctly with only 1 clip, not 2.

They are just like product says they are. I am very pleased with them. Have not got to try them just yet, but they are exactly what I have been looking for. Will update when I get to try them out.

Too short for my horse who likes to hold his head low, wish these were longer. Also-I never understood why they only put one buckle on reins like these. I always add another fir a quick change up.

Love the way these reins feel in my hands. They don’t slip out of your hands while riding. Matches the headstall pretty well perfect. My only complaint is that the reins are a little shorter than I’m used to, Evan though I have them as long as they will go.

Well made, nice stay soft/flexable even in the cold of winter covered webbing. Buckles are solid. I'll update if it doesnt wear well or if I have any issues with it.
