I am very happy with this bit for a sensitive young horse. The Loomis shank makes it easy to switch from using as a curb to a snaffle and the copper-wrapped dogbone helps soften the mouth. I will be trying it on my other horses asap.

I buy this bit all the time & suggest for my trail clients. Its affordable, lightweight, & double broken so its comfy. You can attach your reins to the middle ring for a snaffle effect, or the bottom of the shanks for a curb (spot just behind the chin) effect. If the horse blows thru the snaffle on trail I switch to the shanks. If the horse gets behind the bit I switch to the snaffle ring. Snaffle means non-curb (no pressure on the curb) btw. Not broken mouthpiece.
