Nice but except that the entire piece rusted in a weeks time, cheap material. Ok if ur fine w a rusted bit!

I love this bit. My horse likes to lean on a snaffle bit so the fact that I can go from a snaffle to a shank helps a lot with training him not to lean. If you read the other review it says that it rusts but it is supposed to. It is called sweet rust and it makes the horse accept the bit better and have a softer mouth. I would recommend this bit. (I bought the bit from somewhere else the only difference between them is the color)

Simple shank snaffle at a good price. Do note that the metal will still RUST, so take care of it by cleaning it regularly.My Paint mare likes this model, but my Oldenburg does not (he prefers a Tom Thumb) so it might not work for every horse.This bit is acceptable in Western Dressage as of 2014.
