  • Separator lid easily and securely attaches to standard 5-gallon plastic buckets (not included)
  • Included 90-degree elbow helps induce cyclonic airflow and improve dust collection efficiency
  • Foam gasket provides a tight seal on the bucket and helps minimize suction and air flow losses
  • Fits standard 2.5-inch dust collection hoses (not included)
  • Made of durable, wear-resistant ABS plastic

Remember when you had a clean workshop? Customize your dust collection setup and maximize the life of your dust collector or wet/dry vacuum with the WEN Cyclone-Style Separator Lid. This handy tool installs between your power tools and your dust collector or wet/dry vacuum of choice. Designed to convert your single-stage dust collector to a two-stage version, it works with standard plastic 5-gallon buckets (not included, maximum lip diameter of 11-3/4 inches). Simply attach the included 90-degree elbow to the inside of the inlet port, attach the lid to the bucket, and connect standard 2.5-inch dust hoses (not included) to the ports. Then start making some sawdust, and watch as the separator lid creates a cyclone in your bucket, forcing large chips and shavings to the bottom of the bucket while allowing small particles to pass to your dust collector. This helps extend the life of your dust collector’s filter and prevents it from getting clogged as easily. When the bucket is full, simply pop off the lid and dispose of the wood chips and shavings you’ve collected. The foam gasket improves suction efficiency and prevents airflow loss, and the sturdy ABS construction helps the lid resist the wear and tear of heavy-duty dust collection. Remember when you spent more time on your project than on cleaning out your dust collector? Remember WEN.

This was too small to fit standard buckets from the blue, orange or red (Canadian) stores. The quality is good and I really like the concept. If only it were actually the right size!

This collapses under the force of the vacuum and doesn’t separate dust well at all.

This item appears to work well (one sanding job in). Relatively easy to assemble, just pop it onto (in my case) orange Home Depot bucket. I say relatively, because the fit is *VERY* tight. I ended up turning on the shop vac for extra *suction*, then it finally popped on.

This is amazing. I used it with a 3 gallon shop vac.I had a clean filter in the sweeper, I did also have a sweeper bag in the shop vac. I was sweeping masonry cement. A whole bag had spilled on the basement floor. We ignored that pile for years, not wanting to deal with all the dust and clogged filtersI had 2 6 or 8 ft hoses, sweeping mortar, rocks....The suction was really strong. I was sweeping gravel with ease. Afterwards the sweeper filter is clean, there was some mortar dust in the sweeper bag, I had a half bucket of mortar and rocks.NOTE; I didn't have any adapters to to make the hoses fit snug on lid. But some duct tape did the trick. I just taped the hoses on and went to town.To bad somebody hasn't come up with an idea to make your shop vac sweep like the Cyclone. My husband was really impressed. So I'm buying 2 more for my husband and brother. And I'll probably buy more for other family members in the future. The lid is worth its weight in gold 🥇🪙

Wondered if this would really work as it is pretty inexpensive. I cleaned out the filter and wet vacuum before using. Now, I notice that the filter stays clean and all the dust goes into the bucket. Good purchase.

I can’t find a bucket that is strong enough to not just collapse like a pop can when I use it. It seems to collect dust but the suction has broken multiple buckets now. I even tried to put some pieces of wood inside the bucket to support the sides and it broke the side.
