I bought this buckle because the one I had was cheaply fashioned and it looked as though it would not last so, I wanted a rugged belt buckle that I will have for many years to come and I am not disappointed. The welds that attach the buckle to the hinge are complete and there is no floppy clinking of movement. The design is as advertised and it has a lived in, well worn look. If you want a western buckle and don't want to be too flashy, this is for you. Highly recommended.

I loved the way it looked but returned it because of the way it fastened to my belt. Rather than a hook, it has a straight post with a bulge at the end to go through the hole. I can see it stretching the hole out and leaving my belt damaged if i wore it regularly so i had to return it.

Excellent buckle. Have had no problems ANF it has saved me from some nasty sticky pokes. The buckle works well.
