This set is excellent. No problem installing them on my 2016 RAM Quad Cab, everything fit up with no problem. Took my time to gather tools, layout parts, turn on the radio and enjoyed the task. One person can easily install it. I have the 20" tires and it's so easy getting in/out now. By the way my name is WESTIN so it looks like it was custom made for me.

Perfect for my '14 RAM Quad Cab. Look great and very sturdy. If you've done any mechanical work whatsoever the terrible instructions will become irrelevant quickly. I would suggest leaving the brackets a little loose prior to installing the bar as a little flex will be needed. Also, after installing the front and middle brackets on one side take the step bar and ensure proper alignment. It is pretty easy to confuse the orientation of the brackets. and this will save you lots of do-over time. Also I attached the plastic fill pieces to the brackets prior to installing them and it worked out great.Fun and satisfying project. 1-3 hours at a leisurely thought out pace.

Installed on a 2017 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Item looks great. Installation instructions left a bit to be desired. If I had to install these again, I could probably do it in less than an hour; however, the first time around took me close to 3 hours due to installing/uninstalling/reinstalling the same part multiple times. Pay close attention to which bracket goes where. The good news is that once you get the first side knocked out, the second size goes by real fast.The chrome finished shined nice and showed no signs of marks. I ran some polish over it shortly after installing to help further protect it. They seem to be sturdy. It handled two guys weighing close to 450 lbs total with no issues. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a step bar, and will probably install these again on my next truck.

Mounted right up to my 2016 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Had them both on in about an hour and that was with time spent trying to figure out the crappy instructions. But all you really need to know is which brackets go where and how you put in the bolt brackets. The instructions or lack of really make it seem more difficult than it is. As long as everything is oriented right there is no way to really put them on wrong. Figure the first side out and the other side will be a 15 minute job.After the quick install I was pleased with the look and function. I am 230 lbs and they feel nice and solid and plenty wide enough for my size 12 shoe. No regrets in going with the Westin Pro Traxx's.

The holes below the large one where you insert the mounting pieces are already welded with washers in them from the factory. These bars aren't compatible for my 2015 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, for this reason. Not happy because these are supposed to work. The mounting hardware is useless. Not sure what to do.

I called Westin as the instructions are ridiculous and don't show how they mount. Westin says too bad. The instructions are just pictures of the brackets and a parts list without pictures. Calling customer service is a waste of time as the are not willing to help in any way and talk over you when you ask a question. The instructions are old photo copies with no meaningful information. Buy another brand if you want help.
