Installed perfectly on a 2022 4Runner TRD Sport. Contrary to the photographs in the description, there are only 4 hangers with this kit - and that's all that's needed. Easy but time consuming installation. You'll need a ratchet set and and adjustable wrench - a little bit of thread locker wouldn't hurt. Nice looking set of Nerfs.

This senior with arthritis installed these Westin 21-23585 Pro Traxx 4 Oval Nerf Step Bars on a 2023 4Runner TRD Sport. Took me longer than most reporting, but I'm no spring chicken and sewing is more in my wheelhouse. Treated myself to 2 aspirin and a nap afterwards but at my age that's par for the course. The Amazon web site said they would not fit my vehicle. That is obviously incorrect, and Westin confirmed they would. They are definitely better looking than the OEM running boards and I have no problem recommending them.

Purchased in June of 2014. As others have mentioned, easy install and looked good for the first three years. Warranty is three years and starting the fall of 2017 I noticed rust spots around the edge of the inserts. For various reasons I was not able to really look at the bars until Sept 2018. A picture is worth a 1000 words. Westin has calculated the life of the product well it appears. At least for the northeast. Soon after the expiration the rot shows. Don't know if I can save them but I will avoid Westin if I need to replace the bars.

Super easy to install. 2018 Toyota 4Runner Limited. I checked with Westin to make sure these fit and they do. Took 40 minutes to install. No issues, struggles, drilling. Simply bolt on to existing attachment points.

Amazon website "fit your car" function was inaccurate. Had to return based on wrong product.

We purchased these for my 2014 4Runner, and they were a breeze to install. They also look great and are well made. I liked that these are lower than the Toyota step bars, but beware if you plan to do any off-roading with these. We have scraped them a couple of times, but the lower step is more important to us on a daily basis since this is our family vehicle.

The Westin step bar was an ideal choice if you are looking to stay relatively low on price but still maintain a quality product. It took longer for me to unwrap, layout, and group all the hardware for installation, than it did to install the step bars (both sides!!). The directions that come with the step bars are very basic. A couple of pictures (taken by a camera) show where each bar and mounting bracket is to placed, and that is about it.This is an easy install by removing the stock rocker panel bolts and replacing them with the Westin bolts. Two different socket heads had to be used though. A 12mm to remove Toyota's bolts, and a 13mm to install the Westin bolts with mounting brackets. The overall feeling from these bars is that you can't go wrong paying less than $200 and installing them in under 30 min. If you take your 4Runner to any dealership, they will want $500+ for material and an additional $200+ for labor. Like I said, for the price, it is well worth it.I may spray the step bars with a rhino lining to give it a more rugged look, as well as a total non-skid surface. I haven't decided on that yet though. My wife and I have a bright white 4Runner and the black step bar looks awesome! If you have any other color 4Runner, I would suggest the chrome finished step bar (~$100 more) to make it more aesthetically, pleasing.
