I am a 74 year old woman and I installed these nerf bars. I didn't understand the instructions until I got under the truck and observed on the truck what I'd seen in their instructions. Once I got one brace piece installed, then the others went more smoothly. I am 5'2" and these nerf bars have really made getting into the truck much, much easier for me. We use the truck to pull a 24' trailer. The step area for the front seat could extend back a little further, but otherwise all is good.

They look great and are sturdy, I actually took them to my local shop and had them installed for 80.00 :) All the parts are there and according to the shop, they went on easily.

Step rails were delivered on time and look great on my new 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT All Star Edition Double Cab! Very easy to install with the right equipment (~2 hours total). As other reviews stated, there is a bracket labeled wrong in the directions but other than that these are great!

These nerf bars are solid and good looking. They arrived in a couple of days in a big long and heavy box. My wife wasn't pleased because I was not here when UPS delivered them! But the box was in perfect shape, and the contents were well packed. Not a mark on anything.I bought them for a 2017 Chevy Silverado Z71 Double Cab. Installation took about an hour per side. I took my time so I wouldn't have to redo anything. One item to note is the mounting brackets. Five are the same, and one is different. The instructions say it is for Passenger side rear. It is not. It goes on the passenger side in the middle, not to hard to figure out. Use never-seize on the threads of the bolts and don't tighten any of the bolts until the bars are in place and positioned correctly. Altogether, it was a very easy install. The bars look great and help getting in and out of the truck.

I installed these by myself on my 2017 Silverado 1500 double cab. It took me 2 1/2 hours in my driveway. No need to jack up the truck. They arrived quickly, ordered on Sunday and arrived on Tuesday plus free shipping.There are 6 brackets, five of one style and one that is different. The oddball goes on the passenger side front. I watched a few install videos on youtube first. This made it a lot easier.NOTE: the lower clip for the passenger front goes in upside down from the other five brackets (threads should be below the rocker panel) and the bolt for that clip goes from the top down. There is still plenty of room to get a wrench on the bolt. Install all the brackets loosely and then place the steps on and install all the bolts for the steps loosely. Use never seize (anti seize) on the threads. Tighten the bottom bracket bolts first. Then the upper bracket bolts and then the step bolts. I cut a piece off of the allan wrench that came with the steps so I could put it in a socket, (6mm) to use my torque wrench to tighten the allan headbolts. However, the end of the wrench rounded out. I just used a different allan wrench and tightened them to what I felt was good.These steps are very sturdy and should save a lot of wear and tear on my interior. I chose the black steps because they match the accents on my truck, also if they start to look shabby in a few years I can always paint them.UPDATE: after 1000 miles the steps are working great. Still tight and no squeaks or ratlles.

I ordered these steps while away on business expecting them to take about a week to get delivered. They were delivered 2 days after I ordered them! Installation was easy with the exception of the mounting holes on my 2014 Silverado double cab don't line up with the middle holes on the bar (waiting to hear from Westin). They look great and seem very sturdy, (only using two brackets to mount them to the truck currently) I was very happy to see that it was not a just for looks step and actually came down to help with getting into the truck.

Easy to install. They look very nice on my Silverado. Very sturdy and good quality.UPDATE: Rusted in three years. I live in the south (no salt used in winter).
