The Grille Guard is Very well made, Most likely the best out there ! BUT, The mounting system is a different story ! Very poorly engineered and complete garbage !!! The bottom mounts are fine, they are heavy duty and mount to the frame, same place as the bumper mounts.The top mounts are a different story, They mount to a sheet metal cross member in front of the radiator ! Heavy, strong, metal brackets and you attach them to thin sheet metal ! Everyone should know that the frame moves differently then the body on any vehicle !!! This set up results in the top mounts cracking out the cross member, (see pic). Don't you buy a grille guard to protect your vehicle ? Great idea, if you hit something with any impact this one will take out the radiator ! Returned it to Amazon for a partial refund. Bought a Ranch Hand, Everything mounts to the frame. Dont Waste Your Money ...

As with the other Westin HDX grille guards I have had on my other trucks, this one is top quality in construction and quality. It was purchased from Amazon warehouse as "used, very good condition". It was like brand new except for a slight scuff make on top of the left side headlight bar. Not even through the powder coat. I was able to reuse both my factory skid plate and tow hook after installation. Have done these installations before so not very difficult but instructions could be a little clearer for the novice DIYer
