We were cooking for the holidays and our oven element started on fire on Christmas Eve! Well, that was interesting, and no place was open, so I found it online. I don't like buying replacement parts online if I have the option to "go see them", but no choice here! The description was accurate and it installed and worked great!

Previous element lasted almost 15 years of frequent use. Bought this one Nov 2, 2022, and it failed Dec 4, 2023. Rotten product quality.

This whirlpool element was a perfect replacement part for our old Jenn Air S160 oven. After searching the internet for a replacement part on the specific model I have, I was able to find the part number. A quick amazon search of that part number led me to this product which was extremely cheap and had prime shipping! It worked like a charm. As another reviewer mentioned, expect a slight burning smell the first time you heat this up. After that initial "burn in" it no longer emits any odor at all. Very happy!

What can i say? This product arrived just as i expected. Earlier than promised, in good packaging, and looking very new and ready to use. Installation was so simple... I shut off breaker power to the oven, turned out 2 screws, unplugged the wires on the back, and threw out the old coil. Then, I plugged the wires into this new coil, screwed the plate back in, and turned the power back on to the oven. We did a little test run (expect a bit of a hot metal smell at first), and we've been cooking with bacon ever since (literally and figuratively). My wife loves me! This Whirlpool element was very affordable, performs exactly as i would expect and the shipping service was great!
