Perfect for on the move hunting. Easy to get out and hand on a branch. Only thing that could make them better is a seal on the lid. You don't need to fill the container though you just dip the wick in the scent. I used it for my hunting trip and got this bull to come in close

I purchased several sets and some had holes in the plastic and ran on me ,,so I was stinky due to holes in plastic,,but I did see lots of deer tracks around them in rutting season

Good threads no leaks. I found that just dipping the wick in the lure bottle was tha way to go. pouring lure into the wick, wasted lure and didnt seal well. open the wick soak the extended wick for about 30 seconds and its loaded. used with wildlife research 307, drew deer in and shot my deer. highly reccomended in my book. no mess or wet scented pockets, lol.

Don't know how well they will work as far as drawing in bucks is concerned, since I just bought them. But this is a great concept for using wicks if you belong to hunting clubs where you must deal with the "first come first served" stand allocation rule of common property shoot houses and stands, where you don't want to leave the wicks and scent that you paid for hanging on trees for your other club members to use if they beat you to the stand the day after you hang them. These go back in my pack at the end of the day. They may not be as effective as leaving them out in the same location over several days, but at least I'm not drawing deer in using my expensive scents that other members wind up shooting.I am using a variety of scents on the wicks, by the way. Estrous doe urine on some and buck urine on others, in conjunction with mock scrape drippers, and will typically try and hang them along established game trails starting out 100 or more yards, leading in to my stand from at least two directions. I own six Quik-Wiks. These resealable containers help conserve the scent also, saving money, and let you manage when the scent is being used. Even if you leave them hanging, you can close them when you leave your stand in the evening and open them back up the next morning before daylight if you hunt the same stand. That way you have better control over when deer are drawn to the scent.
