This wireless car play adapter is very very touchy. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it wont at all. I have given out figuring out how to make it connect easily and stay connected. I have also noticed that when it is connected it has a bad transfer of sound quality. This uses its own interface and wont stay on the car play screen so be prepared for that. I guess that you can watch movies as well with this. I havent tried that since I am the driver of my car and cant watch movies or tv while driving.

Game-changer for car rides! This adapter transforms your wired CarPlay into wireless and adds streaming access. Setup was easy, and it works smoothly. Love being able to use YouTube and apps like TikTok during parked breaks. Bonus: HDMI out and Bluetooth pairing are fast!

It works great, even on my Ford F150, which is a bit tricky to work with. It’s responsive and not lagged, and you can download apps directly from the Play Store onto the device. I would give it a 5 stars if it had an external storage expansion slot and a SIM card slot for data.

But it makes perfect sense, it is after all a tiny screen. For some reason I had thought it would only serve up CarPlay items. And Toyota's screens aren't any better. This item fixes both of those issues! I also thought this worked through my phone, but no, it's a whole new interface.The material on the box is very shiny and catches prints easily. I covered it with some plastic backing, so it won't drive me crazy. The button still works easily through the plastic covering. It installs easily, just plug in and hook up the Wi-Fi.For the Wi-Fi, this was strong enough to pick up the house while in the garage. A few other options are the vehicle Wi-Fi, or hotspot your mobile. I hooked it up to the Starlink Mini also which worked great. I absolutely love that I can have YouTube, Netflix or any of the other apps transform that screen into an entertainment system. The sound the comes through the speakers is powerful also. There is a fair number of advertisements played with this system for other app installations, but if you ignore that and go full screen it disappears.

Shipping was fast and item is exactly as described. I was unsure how it would work with Android Auto, but it works great on a late model Altima.

Very easy to hook up. A great addition to the car for road trips. Netflix and YouTube worked perfectly.
