This has been a disappointment for me. The recording seems to be good, but the software for viewing the files is almost unusable. The inside camera works very well in the software, but the front and rear cameras are unacceptable. Cannot read a license even when both vehicles are stopped. I have tried the software on a laptop and a gaming desktop. Also, the audio is so garbled that it is not possible to understand what is said. The app also locks up frequently.The recorded files work in a generic media app and in a software app from another dashcam, although not all the data is available. I will be returning this item to Amazon.

Installation is not possible with supplied cables, just too short.Also rear view cable is too thick to be concealed.Not sure how one can expect it to be under windshield without damage.Not recommended to buyBad app,

Works great, the images are crystal clear and the recording is issue free. The app is a little twitchy at times but nothing really that causes any issues just have to sht it down and bring back up. So far have not lost any footage. I installed direct to the battery through a camera 12v install kit that turns the camera on automatically once power applied. The rear camera is very small and although a little difficult to run without seeing an cable its standard with all rear facing cameras. Its well worth the price and less than some of the bigger name brands while working just as good as my other car which has a name brand dash cam. Very little if any at all image quality

This “WOLFBOX X5 New 3 Channel 4K HDR Dash Cam, STARVIS 2 IMX678,4K+2.5K+1080P Front and Rear Inside Car Camera with 128GB Card, Voice Control, 5.8GHz WiFi GPS, Touch Screen, Digital Signal, Support 512GB” is basically everything you would want in a “dashcam”; you get 4K high resolution front, and relatively high resolution 2.5K for rear, and you get 1080P for inside the car (if you are doing uber/lyft or if you want to check on your teenage kids etc..). This unit even has built-in GPS, so locations/directions/speeds etc.. are all recorded. This unit also includes voice control and touch screen. This unit is not “always on” unless you wired it that way. It comes with a 128GB card which will support loop recording and already hold quite a bit as it is; while if you want more, you can get a 512GB card and stuff it in.All in all, this is a great dashcam, easy to use, feature packed, really all you want; the only issue is that it is definitely “not cheap”.
