A bit more heavy than we wanted, have to be very VERY careful so you don’t crush your fingers closing but love this ladder. Much much lighter than others and really works awesome in tight places. I kind of worry about it slipping while using so always have it braced which should do with any 12’ ladder anyway!!

I don't know if they even make this ladder anymore, but i bought it a couple of years ago and I think it's superior to many of the other similar telescoping ladders out there. The big thing is safety. You want to feel safe that the heavy rungs aren't going to smash your fingers if you're not careful while breaking down the ladder. This one was very well made and I would say it's impossible to hurt yourself using it. Each rung is pressurized and closes slowly and smoothly. It's a remarkable piece of technology. Compare it to another similar ladder that I bought, where the rungs come crashing down full force as soon as you press the release buttons. SUPER dangerous by comparison.

Bought for use in my campervan. Compact and light, it's great in terms of storage and how easy it is to carry it around, especially with that buckle strap. It's super easy to extend and collapse, and can be partially extended or collapsed, which is a huge plus. It's sturdy and I never have a doubt that it's going to give way beneath me, but it's built with a lot of tolerance in the bushings, so it's a little wiggly and flexy when you're climbing on it and it's not hard to walk the feet when it's leaned against a structure by shifting your weight side to side. These are minor problems that are easily solved by things like, just don't wiggle your body while on the ladder. Honestly, I've felt much worse stability and more flex when climbing long, fully extended fiberglass ladders. Only real disadvantage for this ladder is the feet being easy to walk.

Needed something more compact and easy to stow for our travel trailer so went with this 10ft telescoping ladder. Carried a ladder on the back of the travel trailer but it was getting beat up by the weather and road grime and was heavier and bulkier than we needed to deal with. The telescoping ladder is easily stored in the trailers outside compartment and easy to set up. Just make sure you extend each section to lock into place before climbing! Read many reviews for this and similar products where people complained about it collapsing on them and pinching hands and fingers. Perhaps they had received faulty products. But you can experience the same issues if you don't ensure each section is raised fully to lock into place and you release each section correctly with fingers and hands out of the way. What I like is the slow retracting of the sections instead of a fast drop. It's quick to deploy to climb up to the slide-outs to clean off snow and pine needles. Quick retract and stowing back in the side compartment and we are on our way! Noticed more and more travelers carrying this and/or similar ladders. Something to consider for campers. Especial those with roof type tents that seem to be a growing trend. Select slightly longer than the height you need to climb for proper angle of climb. Select a couple of feet longer for safety. As a retired Firefighter, stand with your toes at the base feet of the ladder and extend your arms straight out horizontal to the rungs where your fingers touch the rung level to your arms. That will give you the correct angle for your ladder. Pleased with mine!

Dec 2018 update.... I am 5’2”, 110 lbs, 73 years old... I am using this ladder more and more-it took a while for my petite hands to learn techniques to be able to grasp the ladder properly to lower/raise it! It has been a huge help to me. So glad I got it, have it!Nov 2017I have been using the ladder now for several months... I am appreciating it more and more as I get used to lower/raising the ladder. GREAT TO KEEP IN RV!I am a consumer that puts a lot of emphasis on quality of customer service when purchasing! Even high quality serviceable items purchases will require reachable dealer. Thus my purchase from WolfWise - company surpassed expectations. The ladder I ordered worked great but then a rung tab (right) got locked up and prevented retraction. I am 72, 110 lbs, with small and weak strength hands that works on solo projects. I needed a ladder to size down into a transportable rv ladder. My small hands and weakness limit ability but ladder and I were doing well until the locked up rung became a problem. I contacted WolfWise for help and they sure came through. They asked for a picture and they gave tips on how to unlock the locked rungs. When locked rungs did not release Wolfwise are sending a replacement without requiring return. WOW... on a scale where 5 is best, they are a 10.Notations on ladder: ladder works easier with good sized hands and thumb strength-I am deficient in both. I did figure out how to release locked rungs - right after the replacement ladder was sent (i did not convive to get a free extra ladder) ! I wacked the right tab with heavy tool and it released. Do not hesitate to order from Wolfwise. Since I don't know if lock issue was me or the ladder - I think it's great to have a chance to test out another one - In any case ladder gets 4 , Wolfwise gets 10 -thus 5 stars deserve
