Based on the sizing chart (which is really all over the place), I ordered a large (for my daughter). It was HUGE. I think we both could have worn it. Definitely size down. Her sizing was split (she has a long torso) on the chart and I usually go up to be safe. Had to return it and the size she needed was no longer available... at least at the time of the return. The quality of the leo itself seemed good, but the lace did not seem as strong as some other leos she has, but since we did not keep it, it is hard to say it would have held up.

The bottom part of the leotard was stretchy and fit comfortably but the lace wasn't at all! This made it hard to dance in and not fit properly. When working with plus-size fits, you have to remember that every part of the leotard should be taken into account. I did like how the actual body part fit though.

This is very pretty however it should be noted that the lace does not stretch like the rest of the leotard fabric. I am not able to wear this because the lace will not go over my substantial breast area though the rest of the leotard fits well, if the lace was able to stretch to get over my breasts then it would fit perfectly or even if there were like snaps in the crotch or something so the stretchy part could be pulled down from the top instead of up from the bottom with the non stretchy part. I am sad because it is really pretty and I wanted to wear it.
