The color is much lighter, for one thing. For another, the weave has all kinds of irregularities - which, given that these are made of plastic, is kind of ridiculous. When you're working with a natural material, it's understandable that the lengths of the fibers will vary and there's going to be a sort of organic vibe overall as a result. This is entirely man-made, so why are there random ends tucked all over the place (as in all 4 sides), and on all of the baskets?That said, they are sturdy. If you don't mind the light caramel color and the random ends all over the place, these are stronger and hardier than many other's I've come across. The price ($135 at time of review for a set of 10) is on the high side at $13.50 per basket given the visual issues, but it's also entirely possible these would/should cost more if they were produced with more attention to detail. I haven't priced similar items - but you absolutely should, just to be sure you're getting a solid deal. Just be sure you're comparing apples to apples because again these are sturdy little guys, and I'm not sure there's a way to see that from online photos.

They are simple basket. Nothing extravagant about them. However they are really well made and strong. They make great for organizing!!!

These were pricey, but worth it. The uniform look is great and makes my classroom look very organized. They are strong and sturdy baskets that will hold up well for years. They hold plenty of materials, making them perfect for storing manipulatives and other materials. They fit perfectly on my wood shelves. These are a worthwhile investment.

This set of 10 Wood Designs wicker basket set is a very handy set to have around the house. First off, they stack when not in use. They're large enough to hold/store many household items (each basket measures roughly 8-3/4 inches wide by 12-1/2 inches in length & a depth of 5-3/4 inches). You can find a number of uses for these baskets around the house, basement or garage.They're GREENGUARD gold certified, although I don't know what that actually signifies/means other than possibly good for the environment seeing the baskets are made of wicker.As I said, they are made of wicker & supported by a metal frame. They are very sturdy & can hold a good amount of weight & are easily washable.The price may sound a bit high but keep in mind, you're getting a set of 10 so each basket winds up costing you less than $14 a piece.I highly recommend this set & gladly give this set of 10 wicker storage baskets a 5-star rating!!

Sturdy boxes and can hold heavy items. They look cozy in any room and have two handles to pick them up and put them back on the shelf. I like the design and their quality is much better than others purchased earlier. Recommend them for organizing small items around the house.

Other than the fact that these are very overpriced in my opinion at nearly $14 a piece, these are not bad. I almost got some of those topless plastic containers for my bookshelf like piece of furniture that I use for storing all of my skincare and makeup. But when I saw these if figured that baskets would look much better.And they definitely do. These baskets look pretty nice, though they do have a more almost plastic like look and feel to them than basket like material. It’s almost like they have a thick finish on them or something. But that also makes them a bit easier to clean which is a plus. Overall I do like them, but I think anything over $10 a piece is crazy, and honestly probably wouldn’t buy them if they were more than $7-$8 a piece.
