Color varies from a white to cream with an olive cast. Darker streaks of olive brown, olive green, and yellowish brown may be present. Very easy to work, one of Poplar’s only downsides is its softness. Due to its low density, Poplar can sometimes leave fuzzy surfaces and edges: especially during shaping or sanding. Sanding to finer grits of sandpaper may be necessary to obtain a smooth surface. This stock is cut to size from quality, kiln-dried stock. 100 percent clear and sanded on both sides. Dimensions are +/- 1/8". Grain runs with the longest dimension. Canada and USA.
