Your cart is empty. Erythroxylon mexicanum The bright red background of Redheart is host to a number of very interesting streaks and closed knots. It is smooth and tight grained, and sands to a nice workable surface. Redheart does not tear out when planed, and is nice for scroll sawing. In many ways it is similar to Bloodwood in character and color without the possibility of allergic reaction from the dust. Source Region: Mexico/Central America.

Product picture shows 3 pieces of wood but you only get one. Other products of this company have one item in picture or states one piece when purchasing.

The piece that I got had insect damage that appears to have been either attempted to be covered up or filled and the piece is going to have to be trimmed substantially which makes the thing virtually unusable for my project, but that's not the thing that I think is the worst about this advert. Three boards shown, you'll get one board. That board is... for the most part... very pretty, but it still seems like egregious false advertising. Just go to a local hardwood dealer and get one yourself.

Partly my fault for not checking but if you have three pieces of wood in the picture that is what I would expect. Please update your picture to be only one piece, woodcraft. $50 for one piece of 3/4”x3”x24” is ridiculous when you a have three in the picture.

I made the mistake of not reading how many were in the package, but that was my mistake. However showing three boards as your cover photo is definitely miss leading. The wood however is beautiful

I bought the purple heart which showed two pieces which I received. The red heart had a picture of three pieces which i assumed I was getting. I would never have paid 43 dollars for one piece of wood 3/4 x 3 x 24. Rather than ship this piece back I will just say that this my last order from this supplier

It was a good straight board. And I was pleased at the color but the pic is misleading Bc it shows you three boards. For 50.00 for 3 boards is a fair price but 50.00 for 1 is extremely high.

I live working with red heart. It is such a beautiful wood however it is really expensive
