First off get one for your kid, one for your nieces/nephews, one for all your friends children, birthdays and holidays. This is a spectacular toy, it is indeed on the smaller side, as small as a 6inch sub, but absolutely perfect for those little hands and fingers. It is recommended for 36months plus, however, I do think it’s really up to your child’s capabilities. I gave my 10mth old and she absolutely loves it, the piano keys are magical, it gets and keeps her excited, each time she plays. It does have a on off switch, no volume control 😅 switch board does light up as well, giving a feel of a real keyboard. There are buttons which gives off animal sounds, it does requires a small screw driver three AAA batteries install, not included. When the batteries needs to be changed the piano goes bonkers, and literally malfunctions, I thought it was broken and was about to give a bad review, but I changed the batteries and it’s good as new. Yes, I’m highly recommending this one absolutely yes….get it won’t regret it!! 😁

All the kids love it. The sounds because a lot after a while. It's a cool simple piano.

Got this for my 6 month old and he loves it. Just needed to add some AAA batteries. My kid did crunch a finger tip in it, so if you have a smaller than recommended babe, make sure you're paying attention. He was completely fine, but he did cry for a minute. We're still totally pleased with it. it gives him something to bang his hands on that makes sounds and that's a win!

This is super cute and I love all the switches and plugs. Very useful for using fine motor skills with the baby.

This is the second time I have gotten one of these Montessori type of boards. This thing is SO much fun! In addition to the piano, it has several different kinds of switches with animal noises. So not only is your child getting an auditory response, they are also having to figure out the switches, which is great. My only wish was that there was a volume slider. The sound is a bit loud, BUT it is a fantastic learning toy, and a ton of fun !!

I have a child who collects keyboards, all the way from baby to multi-manual organ. To me this one of the most charming of the baby keyboards. First of all, I love that it is tiny, doesn't take up so much space. I love the wooden frame -- plastic is easy to crack. I love that each animal sound is produced by a different kind of switch, including a key and electronic plug. The keyboard plays notes. This isn't just a sensory toy, it's a problem solving and physical skill toy.Requires AAA batteries and a small Phillips head screwdriver.
