Medium to low backpressure, good response. Medium volume. Not for big session. Will be good for domestic playing and playing in duo or trio. The scale is diatonic with two additional holes on the back side to play flat 3rd and flat 7th. May be used as common irish low whistle (you can cover the back holes with scotch tape etc). Wooden tuning slide with buffer plastic ring. Lightweight. It looks like to have a tunable slider, but my whistle body has been soldered to the head piece and won't move, though it sounds warm and pretty much in tune. I think the specification is wrong about tunable because PDC-02 which is another whistle I ordered and received also has soldered head and body. I also have V line whistles of same manufacturer which have brass mouth piece and middle ring and they have real tunable slider. So this product is a little disappointing even the instruments are quite in tune.
