Only 4 stars as this arrived bent. I was able to bend it back into a straight neck. Not sure if this was a manufacturing issue or a shipping issue. Either way it looks ok now. Can not complain for the price.

I used it to paint about 25 linear feet of crown molding with an oil-based paint. When I was done, I sharply rapped the metal arm of the roller frame against the edge of a trash container (the way I always remove used roller covers). The thin plastic inside the cage broke, allowing the roller frame to move freely back and forth along the axis of its rotation. This rendered the product unusable. Disappointed in the quality compared to other Wooster paintng products I've used.

This roller has worked really well when I used it with special 7" foam rollers to spread epoxy on fiberglass cloth being applied to the 16' runabout boat I'm building.

I'm no pro painter. Just someone who likes to paint. Without a doubt, this is a very good frame. Rolls much better than the cheap ones. And you can put an extension handle in it for extended reach. Which I really like.

Somehow 7" rollers not in stock in Lowes. Good for smaller jobs when 3-4" is too small. Standard build and not the heavy duty.

Works fine. The roller works smoothly and is very light weight. Using it to apply epoxy during construction of a wood-fiberglass kayak.
