Great quality tool. Built very well, grip is awesome. Not a tool you'll use everyday, but it is handy for certain situations. Probably overbuilt but thats not a bad thing. Will outlive me most likely. Great price for the quality. Functions like it should, great design when used on the right connectors.

This tool is as niche as you can get. But, for the few electrical connectors that this is designed for, it is almost the perfect tool. The build quality is great. The steel is solid and the grips comfy.But... this thing will not fit into tight spaces! You have to have a perfect straight shot for it to work. Also, it is rigid as hell. Im sure if you are a mechanic who used it everyday it'll be great in a few weeks, but man... Workpro, you need to run these back and forth a bit. Opening and closing is stupidly hard to do. I'm sure it's just a very tight tolerance. But this tool isn't one that'll be used under heavy pressure, or everyday for years. And though I didn't take off a star for lack of ability to fit into tight spaces, they need to sell this in a set with a 45 degree and 90 degree option or eveb an adjustble head option. I had 3 plugs to undo recently. And this could do only one. I was able to use some very small channelocks for one of the others, and it was a pain. The other was the old tried and true small screwdriver and praying not to slip method.Decent tool though. Would last a long time in a mechanics place. Forever for a dyi'r I'd imagine.

This review is for WORKPRO Electrical Disconnect Pliers, 8-inch Automotive Electrical Connector Pliers with Ergonomic Handle, Fixion Tools Pliers, Automotive Plug Removal Tool for Car Fuel Pump, Spark PlugThis is one of those tools that you don't use every day but when you need it, it sure is nice to have it. Does a great job of disconnecting those plastic connectors that have a very small travel and might be difficult to push with your thumb and also pull out at the same time. Gives you a lot more leverage over the plug than you can get with just your hands. It also works great for removing parts that insert with tabs - if you can get at the back, these pliers push on the tabs from the side and allow you to push the part out (like something inserted into a dashboard slot, for example).Handgrips are a bit larger/thicker than normal so it feels good in the hand. It also has smooth travel and feels like a quality pair of pliers. Stiff enough but not too stiff to use comfortably

This is one of those tools that I never knew existed but now I could never imagine going without. I've already used this on a few jobs (replacing horns and valve cover seals) and it makes life so, so much better. Everyone who's wrenched knows how painful it is to squeeze a connector as hard as you can with just your fingertips. This just works and it works every single time. A few minutes of struggling is now just a few seconds. I seriously cannot express how nice this tool is to use. I just want to unplug everything on my car's engine.Build quality is also really good. This is one of the best cheap tools you will ever buy, no lie. Buy one and buy one for a friend. Everyone needs one of these.

IF you have ever fought with disconnect electrical connectors while working on a vehicle or boat motor, they can be difficult and easily broken using screwdriver or other tool. The WORKPRO electrical disconnect pliers make it so easy. The eight inch plyers nose is offset with a 1" wide jaw on one side and hooked jaw on the other side. The tool does a great job of holding down the locking tab and giving you leverage to disconnect the plug. The handle have a good thick insulation protects you from being shocked and comfortable when using the pliers.Amazon has a $3 off coupon, at the time of this review, bring the cost to about $13, which is a good price for having this in you tool box.

Man, I gotta say, after having these WORKPRO Electrical pliers for like 3 months now, they've honestly been a total lifesaver whenever I'm working on my car. I picked them up mainly for doing some fuel pump and spark plug maintenance, but they've come in so handy for all sorts of other electrical jobs too.The grips on these pliers are just fantastic - they've got this really ergonomic rubber coating that makes it super easy to get a solid grip, even when your hands are greasy from being under the hood. And the jaws are nice and thin but still feel really sturdy, so you can easily maneuver them into tight spaces to disconnect clips and connectors. One little thing that did surprise me was how well they actually strip wires too! Not something I bought them for, but it's been a nice bonus. The only minor gripe I have is that the grips could maybe use a bit more texturing, as they can get a tad slippery if your hands are really sweaty. But overall, these pliers are just top-notch, you know? Definitely recommend picking up a pair if you do any kind of auto electrical work - they'll make your life so much easier. Well worth the money in my book!EDIT: Customer service reached out to resolve my issue. Very happy.
