Purchased a set of 12ft Bi wire 9AWG speaker cables in White for two B&W floor standers.Cables arrived today and I was super chuffed with the presentation. Solid box ensured there was no chance of any damage. Cables themselves are no joke, heavy, solid and flexible. Easy to handle and feel amazing.Do cables really make a difference to the sound. Each to his own. But when you have thousands of dollars worth of system you don’t want $20 cable trailing along the floor. I have yet to test them as the set up is in another country. But I have no doubt they will do exactly what I expect and more.I’ll definitely be reaching out to WBC for some custom length cables for inside the walls when I rebuild the home cinema.

These cables make my new Al5 Lascallas sing. Fit my Bryston amp perfectly 🥰 I am beyond impressed. If I could give them 6 stars I would. And the packaging 📦 is beautifully done. Very professional 👏.

Over a year ago ELAC speaker cables replaced zip cord type cables. There was a noticeable difference but not as much as expected. I follow a few YouTube reviewers and one suggested trying $49 Amazon cables. They were good but not great. However, they were better than my $260 ELAC cables. After installing the $49 cables I installed a new integrated amp and new DAC. Both made significant changes. About 6 weeks ago I decided to change the interconnect cable between the DAC and pre-amp. Huge improvement. All this to finally get around to the results of replacing the $49 speaker cables with the World's Best Cables. Out of all the increases in performance these cables made the biggest difference. Low frequencies are more robust. Very solid bass. Sound stage is a little wider and front to back increases. Everything sounds more full and more dynamic. Could be these cables are benefiting from all the other changes I made but if anyone is considering changing speaker cables these should be tried. They typically will not break the bank and you can return them if you buy from Amazon. I am keeping mine. i have never tried $1000 plus cables but I do not think I would hear any difference. However, if I do another round of upgrades and spend $50,000 on equipment, upgrading speaker cables might improve the sound. But for me and the system I have now these cables are here to stay. If you are considering $300 to $500 speaker cables, give these a try.

TLDR: These are really nice cables at a very good price. Excellent clarity. Excellent dynamic range. Quality connectors.Detailed Review:I am just restarting my hifi journey after a 20-year break because, life. Anyway, I have built a new system from a pair of DIY Hypex Nilai monoblocks, an Eversolo DMP-A6 DAC with upgraded linear P/S and a pair of Philharmonitor 3-way speakers I built with upgraded crossover components. This is a very resolving system.I've discovered on the forums that the subject of cables is...polarizing. As a skeptic myself, I am learning to just trust my ears. Every system is different so it's really the only way for me to evaluate stuff.I have found that in MY system, cables actually make a noticable difference. My first speaker cables were DIY with 12AWG copper zip cable and decent soldered banana plugs. They sounded OK but I thought I could do better. Then I tried some Sewell solderless banana plugs on the same 12AWG cable. Much better (and highly recommended).I decided to try these WBC 9AWG 8-footers to see if a smaller AWG really made any difference. It shouldn't. Since these WBC's cost just a little more than DIY, I went for it just to save time. I did not expect any significant difference and was prepared to return them when they inevitably proved to be nothing special. I was wrong, so very wrong. These things took my system up another notch. For MY system, the bass extension improved dramatically. Detail retrieval also improved. The whole dynamic range is just more fluid and "effortless". What surprised me most was that imaging became more focused and soundstage slightly deeper. How can a cable do this? I'm stunned, really.WBC does not give much information on the construction of these cables. They sound (and look) so good, I don't want to cut the sheathing to see what's inside. I can only speculate that they used quality Mogamai, Canare, etc., cable. The connectors are very nice and fit tightly. Maybe that's why. Maybe it's the "4% silver solder under inert gas" thing. Dunno. Conclusion: In MY system, these cables made a very audible improvement in clarity, detail and dynamic range, especially in bass extension. I'm not convinced that any cable needs "break in" (WBC says 175 hrs) but I am now a believer in low AWG speaker cable. As a nuclear scientist and former electronics technician I can't explain the physics of it. It's baffling, really - but there's no denying the sound. Awesome cables at a great price.
