The banana plugs are specially reinforced to support heavy gauge cables (special shaft inside).

OK, we all know that speaker cables come in a variety of flavors. Some want to spend hundreds, others are willing to spend pennies.As an avid audiophile, I've always been particular about every component in my sound system, and the speaker cables are no exception. I've made my own, and I've also purchased some as well.After extensive research and testing, I recently upgraded to a set of premium speaker cables, and the ones I decided to go with are the WBC Ultimate.These speaker cables exude quality from the moment you unpack them. The construction is robust yet flexible, with high-grade materials that inspire confidence in their durability. I really like the tweed material and the red and gray stitching for the terminal connections.Since sound is subjective and there are countless debates about the sound quality of speaker cables, I won't go into details there. I love the sound, so that's all that matters.Do you want to spend over 100 dollars on speaker cables? Only you can decide. I for one am glad that I did.I am thoroughly pleased with these premium speaker cables.
