Update December 2024, the cables are still performing great after 7 months. I've also had the opportunity to use them now with the acclaimed Cambridge Audio CXA81 integrated amplifier driving the KEF speakers. Musical bliss, the perfect match of equipment! The last upgrade will be to a Cambridge Audio CXN100 streamer that will be connected to the CXA81 via WBC XLR cables.Update April 2025, with the Cambridge Audio CXN100 network streamer in the system and connected to the CXA81 with WBC XLR cables my system is complete. The CXN100 offers such a huge improvement in audio quality over the Bluesound NODE I was really amazed! I have to believe that a big part of the improvement I am hearing was due to connecting the two Cambridge units to each other with the XLR connections. The added gain from the XLR outputs of the CXN allows it to effortlessly drive the inputs on the CXA81.As with all the other WBC cables I have a dead quiet background, startlingly detailed imaging and an incredibly wide sound stage. Like I said, I'm done. Now all I have to do is sit back and enjoy the music. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZRW5SL2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titlePlease read the original review from Sept 2024:I have been using WBC cables for about two years now. I started out with a pair of their .5 foot analog interconnects with XLR connectors and made with Mogami cable when I was experimenting with various balanced DAC's and headphone amplifiers for my desktop headphone audio system. I also have a couple of pairs of their analog interconnects with RCA connectors that I've used for various purposes. These cables have consistently provided a clean signal with pretty much non-existent background noise, as advertised they reject interference well, and they are well built using quality materials.I work in AV technical support and I'm so sick of the overly complex audio systems that dealers are installing and I wanted to go old school two-channel all the way! I recently setup a brand new two-channel system consisting of - KEF Q950 speakers, Parasound 2125 v2 class A/B amp (not digital amplification), sources are a BlueSound Node streamer and an Apple TV which is plugged directly into my Samsung TV and the optical audio output of the TV goes into the BlueSound Node's optical input. Analog RCA outputs of the Node go direct to the Parasound amp. Volume control is via the Node. I use Roon with Tidal and I have a library of uncompressed FLAC files on a NAS.Based on the excellent experience I've had with WBC interconnects I decided to try their speaker cables for my new system and I'm glad I did. These speaker cables look great with a nice braided jacket, they have weight to them, the connectors are substantial to support the large 7 AWG cable and all the jacketing, color coding and labeling the positive and negative connectors is a nice touch and shows attention to detail. I got the 7 AWG wire size and have spades on one end for the speakers and banana connectors on the other for the amp end.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BM457LZH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleI am also using the WBC analog interconnects between the Node and amp so they will also be reviewed here. These interconnects use the Gotham GAC-4/1 Star-Quad LCOF Copper cable from Swiss based manufacturer Gotham and Amphenol RCA connectors. Quality build, the Amphenol connectors have the right amount of grip on the RCA jacks on the Node and Amp and aren't like the vice grip of some other connectors were you can't even pull the cable out without breaking the RCA jack they are plugged into. These cables are directional and they have little tags on them telling you which end plugs into the source device.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FR3HX6L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleBeing that everything is new I've been burning in the system for a solid three months now. WBC gives you an insane 2 year return policy and they encourage A/B testing against other cables. They recommend 175 hours of use before evaluating the sound of the cables so I'm well beyond that! After getting the system up and running I immediately noticed the ultra quiet background like I have experienced with the interconnect cables. Imaging of instruments and vocals was good, soundstage was relatively deep and wide. Keep in mind these initial observations were before I started tweaking the speaker positioning. After I got my speakers dialed in for my room everything got better. Deeper, wider sound staging, imaging detail improved, the KEF speakers have amazing bass response and it's tight and I could sense all the fine detail in the low bass that you might not otherwise hear (no subwoofer necessary in this system!). The KEF's also have amazing midrange and I listen to a lot of female vocals - clear and the presence is amazing. It's like the artist is in your room. Fast forward to today now that the entire system has had a chance to burn in and all that I have mentioned above has gotten better if you can believe it. I'm a happy camper.WBC advertises that their cables just let all the musical detail through without any coloration added from the cables and I would have to strongly agree with that statement. I am hearing so much detail in the music that I haven't heard before and it's a blast going through my favorites and listening again, sometimes it's like listening to a whole new version of the song because you can hear so much more into the music! The same is true of the interconnects, they just get out of the way and pass all the detail through. I tried some AudioQuest Diamondback interconnects I had before I got the WBC's and the WBC's blow the AQ's out of the water and for a fraction of the cost of the AQ's. The AQ's were way more laid back and the sound staging shrunk, imaging wasn't as precise, etc. I was astounded at how much better my system sounded with the WBC's.Based on the quality materials and build and the sound I am getting out of my system, for the price these interconnects and speaker cables are an absolute no brainer. With the two year return policy you can try them out against other cables and see what you think but I'll bet you end up keeping the WBC's!Highly recommended.

Received my order. I had tried to Cancel my order after realizing that my $4K amplifier will not take Banana plugs. Although I was sure it did looking at the binding posts. I was going to reorder a spade to spade connection. Unfortunately due to my mistake. The order was not cancelled. So I gave it a go anyhow. The cables are heavy. I was able to insert the banana plug carefully into the bare wire connection on the amplifier terminals. Put on a CD and started listening. After about half a CD I could no longer listen as Fatigue set in and my ears were hurting. I disconnected the cables and put back my previous set of M&G Audio Planus 2 cables and the magic returned. Worlds best cables recommended 175hrs to break in. If that's the case then why do they not burn in the cable for 100hrs before sale to have a better idea of what they can do when put into your system. I would pay a few bucks more for that. I didn't care much for the cloth outer shell as it seems to attract dust and pet hair which is hard to keep clean. I would have preferred the standard outer sheathing instead of a cloth type. I would perhaps also like to see maybe a 12awg cables silver plated copper as my system really sounds good with silver in the mix. For me it smooths out the lows and high and has oodles of detail. Perhaps this could be something Worlds Best Cables could look into. I'm sure these cables would work well in other systems. But for me. They were not my cup of tea so to speak. To each his own. At any rate. I now have a set of cables to use in the event that something happens and I may need them. Overall this review may seem a bit negative but that is not what I intend it to be. If it helps others then great. If it helps Worlds Best Cables. Even better :)

So I did not want to be the guy that talks about how much better a good wire can make your system sound.... But here we are! First impressions was how much clearer the top end of my system sounded bit bit too bright for my taste. These cables do require some burn in to sound their best but for me it was maybe after 8 hrs when they really sounded great. Build quality and looks are great but upgrade in sound quality really surprised me.
