Really good for the aspiring artist. It holds their supplies inside the unit and easily opens so they can begin working on their masterpiece.Only annoyance Iโve seen thus far is that it is not great for regular paper. If your child is using a canvas (which they probably wonโt), it will clamp the canvas down. However, paper doesnโt secure very well.Product is fairly simple to put together and is a good value overall. Adjustability of clamping mechanism is simple as you raise the lid and loosen a wing nut to move it. Then, once you have the correct size, just tighten the nut back up.

This is a nice little tabletop art kit. Small and portable so you take it with you. Comes with quite a bit to get you started from brushes to paint to canvases. The sliding easel functions well even though there are odd screws. They have square fittings but the wood is cut for a circle. The bolts are secured with wing nuts so itโs easy to put together. Very kid friendly but also suitable for adults. The price is fair but the flaw in the pre drilled holes should have been corrected. If you have a young art enthusiast, this would make a perfect gift.
