Had to replace the old solenoid which was not always sealing completely when closed, allowing a small vacuum leak towards the intake manifold and making at times the engine to stumble and shake at idle (with or without load). Just replacing the vacuum hoses (with gasoline resistant hoses of the same inner diameter) did not completely solve the problem, so the solenoid was the next to test: applying several times (On and Off) 12V at the pins allowed me to notice that the passage would not be completely sealed at times. This is how I knew that I had to replace the solenoid.UPDATE: after almost two years, I started to get the P1443 Code. Checked electrical connection and the rubber hoses. Erased the code several times, but it kept coming back after a few days.What P1443 means for Ford vehicles ? "Evaporative Emission System Control Valve Low/No Flow"That means that I will have to get a new Valve, more likely of a different brand.
