Hubby was mowing our lawn and complained that he wasn’t able to turn left while mowing. After he demonstrated the problem, it seems that the gear wears out and the teeth get worn. I checked with Google and was directed to the proper you tube video. As we are half an hour out of town, I checked Amazon for the part. I was able to order all I needed within a few minutes and arranged for my son to come over to install the part on the weekend. Installation was easy, it helps to have a helper with small hands and work over a piece of cardboard to catch washers and bolts that may drop. We did put the belt back on wrong but got it figured out in the end. It took us about an hour and a half having no prior experience in riding mower maintenance.

Original plate for my D100 was bent and ruined one of my steering arms.This was an exact and easy fit.I did buy some shim washers to remove a little of the extra play in the steering. Not this sellers fault that's just how the D100 is but I would recommend adding the shims if you ever need to replace this.

Product arrive in good contents, all parts were there, install on my riding mower yesterday and all parts fit just right. Test the mower and steering system is a whole lot tighter. Not sure how long these parts will last but for the price, they are worth it. The OEM parts on my mower had been on there for 12 years and were pretty well worn. Do Recommend

I have a repair shop. While this will work and the price is right, it’s not the same as OEM. Specifically, the hole drilled for the bushing is too big and the bushing is too small. The result is a stacking of tolerances that give you loose steering. The next time I needed these parts, I bought OEM and was much happier with the repair. It cost more, but it was worth it.
