It's an ok rack. I don't expect the chrome to last long. Not sure what is long at this moment but it doesn't appear to have the quality of OEM HD chrome. The post, on my particular rack ordered, were not properly aligned. I know they have some angle to them to match up with the lid but a couple were just too angled.I did NOT use this on my tour pak. I would not spend the money on this rack to use on a quality painted part. With that said I purchased this rack to mount to a trailer roof top that I pull behind my motorcycle. While my trailer is no cheap thing mounting it to the top is much more forgiving than the lid of a tour pak.The shape is great and fits a saddlemen luggage bag to near perfection so I'm very satisfied with that aspect of it.For the price and application I used it for, I would buy again. I recommend you bump your budget up if you are going to buy this to mount to your tour pak.

Mounted to an old 70's Goldwing trunk I found & refinished & mounted to my FLHR. For me, drilling the holes just right was a bit of challenge because all the legs are angled, but it mounted in less than 20 minutes & makes the massive trunk look much better. It's definitely cheap, but it looks good & does the job.If I had spent the $$ on a stock HD tourpack I would not buy this one, I'd get stock or a quality aftermarket one.
