Reduced the noise of draining a tank to a safe level. It also restricts the flow enough that you don't end up dropping the pressure too fast and freezing the valve.

Years ago I would only need to drain one tank once a year. Now, with various air mixtures and for various reasons the dreaded loud irritating pftssssssssssss for nearly an hour happens more often. Every time I hear the phrase, "Please drain the tank" I dread the experience to follow. I love gadgets. This gadget does what it claims. Rather than a loud, ear-splitting whistle this attachment soothes the ear-splitting whistle into a soft-sounding breeze. Quiet? weelllll.. not really quiet, but far less annoying, quieter than without it. Even if you only drain your tank once a year, it's worth it. It's built solid and will last you a lifetime.If you don't want to spend the cash, there is another version which attaches to your low pressure inflator hose which is much cheaper but I have no experience with it. My guess would be it would also be much slower and you'll have to drag out your 1st stage as well.
