I'm generally satisfied with this test stand. The casting is a bit rough, and I noticed that black residue falls from the bottom of the carriage where the worm gear passes through. So there's enough abrasion in those contacts to grind off very small particles of metal. I lubricated it well and it functions fine but this is something to be aware of. Also, the handle on the wheel is attached by a bolt which loosens as you use it. I ended up gluing it in place. The roughness of the cast surfaces of the wheel doesn't bother me or impede function. Also be aware it doesn't have mounting holes on the frame, so you'll have to drill your own or rig something else up.
