No Suspension Chassis with Mecanum Wheel

Yahboom have a total of 9 robot chassis for choice. They are made of green aluminum alloy, beautiful and durable. Equipped with 520 motor with encoder, which provides a strong power for the car. Each aluminum alloy accessory is designed with screw copper column holes with reasonable spacing. Users can install main control board, lidar, camera, display screen and other equipment by themselves. We provide 3D model files of each chassis for free, and users can use them for their own projects.

If you’re looking for a stable platform in order to build from this is the best platform, the Rosbot. The other platforms are quite good, but not adequate and stable enough for high tolerance instrumentation. While this platform is not perfect it works much better than others. I have tested. As a kit for a stem project it is fantastic for anybody and any kit of this nature will work great.. ****01/06/24 - this platform is turned out to be very stable. In addition to all the original equipment, that’s pictured. We added high depth, sonar, and camera systems to the unit. And we are attempting to install a 6DOF arm and program it as well. The main issue that I have run into with the small robots is that they become very top-heavy very easily. Watch for center of gravity on your project. Ours has fallen backwards on the monitor twice. We are working on duplicating the unit and scaling it up three times. It’s original size. I’ll post a picture of my ever finish it…

The Yahboom Smart Robot Car Chassis is without a doubt the best chassis that I have encountered. I purchased it from Amazon on the last Prime Day so in addition to an excellent product I got it at a very good price. I have purchased several smaller chassis which worked for their intended purpose, but they were always flimsy and minimal. The Yahboom Smart Robot Car Chassis is very sturdy. The frame plates are 3.25mm Aluminum Alloy. There are numerous mounting holes (some threaded, some not) and multiple cable pass throughs. I feel comfortable that I could find a way to mount anything (robotics wise) that I wanted. The quality of all parts is excellent, no sharp edges or metal fillings. The kit includes four substantial 520 12V DC motors with encoders and 1:56 gear reduction. The motors include cables and cable dressing. Two of the motors are mounted on a separate suspension chassis which will help with uneven surfaces. The 80mm Mecanum wheels are well made and of good quality. The kit also includes a preassembled 6 DOF Robotic Arm that includes five 15kg Bus Servos and one 6kg Bus Servo and their associated cables. Once again, the arm is both well-made and the quality is excellent. The kit came with an additional set of motor cables with connectors on one side in case you need an alternate hookup. It also came with quite a few additional screws, nuts, washers, and posts. Assembly is not hard, the parts all come in numbered bags and the support site for the kit includes an assembly video, motor/encoder information and Mecanum wheel Kinematic Analysis. Since I intended to build a ROS based robot, I also purchased Yahboom’s Robot Expansion board, USB Hub and a Voice Recognition board. Just like the chassis the quality of the circuit cards was excellent and there is a lot of support information and videos available for the cards and ROS on the Yahboom support site. I have communicated with Yahboom Support both before and after I bought the kit, and their response time has been excellent (typically within 24 hours). They were more than happy to answer questions and offer suggestions. From my perspective they are without a doubt dedicated to supporting their customers. I would recommend this kit without hesitation to any robot hobbyist or STEM Robotics teacher.
